Clinical Explanation

Erythrotrichormania Spectralis, or 'Cantstoplikinggingersitis' [E.S. for short] is an illness that causes the victim to have an acute attraction to individuals with natural red or orange hair that is unlike any other. Some cases may take up to years to show enough symptoms to confirm contamination, and others appear suddenly. While dangerous, E.S. is a rare find based off all current knowledge. Research is still being conducted for your safety.

Known Causes

Currently, there are many reasons why someone may gain this sickness. There is a possiblilty that some patients have ginger-attraction genes, or were taught to show utmost appreciation to redheads. Besides that factor, the most deadly known cause of E.S. is The Weasley Twins. Fred and George Weasley have been proven to make girls swoon, which 7 times out of 10 contaminates the on-looker. Another famous Weasley, Ron, is also a high-ranking risk for Erythrotrichormania Spectralis. In 3 out of 5 cases, subjects are shown to be attracted to the Goblet Of Fire movie era of these three boys' hair. One has stated, quote, "Ron is too pretty for this world to comprehend in the 4th movie." Even just laying eyes upon these boys for too long can make teen girls gain uncontrollable attraction to gingers and fatal E.S. Another cause of E.S. that is seen in the most dangerous cases is meeting and being friends with more than 2 gingers/redheads, and falling in love with at least one of them. Our current highest ranking case is a teenage girl who spent over a year after being broken up with 'crushing and obbessing' over her ginger ex.

Official Symptom List

Below are all known symptoms of Erythrotrichormania Spectralis

• Holding out only for gingers.
• Having strong urges to touch natural red or orange hair.
• Thinking every ginger you see is beautiful/handsome.
• Having nothing appropriate to say about the Weasley twins and/or Ronald Weasley.
• Saying odd/inappropriate things about fictional gingers and blaming it on the wind/other people.
• The longest crush or 'true love' you've had was a ginger.
• Having extreme heartbreak or infatuation over a ginger that lasts more than 6 months.
• Falling in love with at least 3 ginger people at first sight.
• Being unable to fall in love with someone without red/orange hair and/or freckles.
• Having unexplainable urges to complement gingers on their hair in public spaces and online.

If you show more than four of these symptons, you most likely have Cantstoplikinggingersitis. If you show between six and eight symptoms, your case is serious and must be contained before it is uncurable. If you show all symptoms, you cannot be cured.

Are There Any Cures?

The short answer is, blankly, no. As of August 27th, 2026, there are no cures of E.S. Our research team is working quickly to find all possible solutions, although it is incredibly hard with our lack of future-technology.

Who Catches E.S. Easiest?

It has been shown that teenage girls between the age of 12 and 17 are the most vulnerable to the sickness. The reason for such conclusion is because of puberty, that is when girls start to date, and overwhelming numbers of young Weasley Family simps.

Erythrotrichormania Spectralis [E.S.], more commonly known as 'Cantstoplikinggingersitis' is a dangerous illness, and is caught by young girls. Serious cases are those who show 8 or more symptoms. Doctors say to be checked for E.S. immediatly if showing any signs of the sickness, so you still have a chance to be saved.
